DOM - Sun Bronzed Greek Gods (Astralwerks)

I've had this for a while, but never really listened to it until this morning when I was going through some unheard stuff I have.. MY GOD! I'm in love! Just feel good vibes, nothing more nothing less. 'Living In America' is defo the best track.

This is as hipster as you can get btw haha ;)

Also some Robert Rich - 'Nest', I actually think that this is some of his best work. I see some interesting stuff rising.

I'm also on a constant hunt for those forgotten 90's industrial/metal/rock albums, right now downloading some My Life With Thrill Kill Cult, gotta love the tongue-in-cheek production and image of the whole scene :D Possibly the most untrendy music right now IKR. Excellent balance for the current style of generic, calculated production, house crap and stupid fads.

I have a walkman and some portable speakers in the bedroom to listen to music while going to sleep. Woke up early and decided to pop it on, but the batteries are running low, so I'm currently listening to the second side of Lifeforms gradually slowing down. It's actually quite a fascinating listen.

Room 208 sounds like mid 80s Tangerine Dream, Elaborate Burn sounds like something from Eno's Apollo.

I wish I had my old walkman, I loved it so much.

Some new stuff:

- My Life With The Thrill Kill Cult (just getting into them, 90's industrial fetish continues)
- Archives 7
- Killing Joke: Democracy single + remixes
- The Exploding Hearts (a short lived melodic US punk band from 2001, one of their members died in a car crash so they quit in 2003)
- ISHQ: Flowering Mountain Earth

then some misc tracks from Massive Attack, new Swervedriver (!) etc.

It's just a 2-track single and the vocals are kinda weird, but the track is top notch.

Also, listening to the new Phoenix album, which is kinda meh.. too calculated and generic pop for my taste. "Trying To Be Cool" is awesome track 'tho :)

I actually listen quite often to LP's.

np:
Alec Empire - Lash The Nineties
Generation Star Wars (1994)

On Spotify, that is :) This song alone is worth getting this album for, because well, the rest is kinda terrible. Wish I had it on vinyl.

Vinyl is my favourite format, then tape, then CD, then digital. Would love some FSOLDigital stuff on LP.
