Righto, for the completists (like myself) if anybody's interested, here's the mix divided into tracks. It was done partly using the spectrogram, partly "on ear", landing with 18 tracks, i.e. same number Enofa counted. Concerning artist/titles: I was kinda sure about first three/four (which seem just like the MM7 CD), but then I kinda lost it. The point here is, if you recognize any tracks for sure, please contribute and let's complete the list of the 18 titles in order...
edit: Forgot to say this is 200-300kbps ogg, unlike the uncut .flac. Just reducing the size for my own archives (after I complete the tracklist, I'll probably delete the flac file)....

Hello, DVE2054! Don't worry about the quality of the recordings that were provided here in the chat from the broadcast. Judging by the spectrum, all mixes in mp3 quality are 128 kbp/s (16kHz), well, a maximum of 160 (17kHz), that is, there is no real flac (21-22 kHz) here, so you can safely convert, for example, to mp3 no higher than 160 kbps, you will not lose quality, but you will save space on your computer.

No it's just I kinda have elementary knowledge both of the format and the matter and hand, but working with these clips in the way Audacity normally displays the spectra with logscale, as in:
in other words, you can' t readily see the lowpass at cutoff right above 15k. It's just, well, blackER than normally in there
Seems you like spectral analysis, so here get a load of this, in MM7, track 9 opens with a symbol visible in the spectrum:

In the current lore this is Humanoid's st1818r slow so yeah, makes some sense although I can't place this logo anywhere, but it goes well with acid traditions

I would not say that I am a fan of spectra, I am interested in the spectrum only in one case,
to see the source (track quality) is lossless or lossy.

edit: I now have also changed my own tracklist for the live mix a few posts above. 3 titles still missing, one of these has to be FSOL's 'Here We Are'.
Also, we have to denote that the long running tradition of shortening track titles in MM is alive and well. Canopy of Stars' track title is 'Sun Clouds Sun' and not 'Sun Cloud', unless they're two different tracks. Similarly, on, say, MM5, Sundial Aeon's track is not "Stillness of the Morning", but - in replacing sexy for poetic, rather - "Stillness of the Morning Moon".
Also, we have to denote that the long running tradition of shortening track titles in MM is alive and well. I'm taking too responsible an approach to this issue, it takes a lot of energy, and I need a break.
I noticed a tendency in Brian's remixes of other artists both in this collection and in previous parts of MM,
he draws the melody to the foreground, if it is in the original tracks, which sounds in the background, and this is very good.
It sounds as if the musicians themselves had made alternative versions of their tracks, viewed from a different angle.
I'm taking too responsible an approach to this issue, it takes a lot of energy, and I need a break.

Thanks, TriggaBo. Yes so it seems we've got as much from the list as we ever will. Unless one day in the future, somebody gets confirmation about what the 2 unknown tracks are.

Can anyone tell me which company designs images for MM7 ?!
For Mind Maps 1-6, the cover designs were handled by "Grid Pattern" (David Watson) and on the latest releases it's not known...
I couldn't find any information on the disc covers, similarly there is no information on Trip Maps (1-3), Mind Trip - Xmħ01,

I really liked how Brian cut the mix into tracks in MM7 (I don't remember how it was on MM4-6, I'll have to listen to it again) very beautifully, harmoniously, correctly... I have nothing to complain about, well, maybe the beginning of the last 14th track -3 sec. could have been left at the end of the 13th track But Brian is the creator of the mix, he knows better, thank him very much for the mix, he is a beautiful man!
It makes sense to cut the first three mixes (MM1-3) in the same high quality and sell them as a web version.
I think there will be many people who will buy such a release. What is the idea behind chopping up the mixes into tracks?
It's simple, if you want to listen to a mix in its entirety, you can, regardless of whether it's cut into tracks or a single hour-long track, the tracks flow seamlessly from one to the next. But when you want to relisten to the first track, and then the tenth, it'll be difficult, especially since you don't know where one track begins and ends, or where the next begins. As the mix's creator, it wouldn't be difficult for Brian to cut his own mixes into tracks and re-release it.
I don't think he'd lose anything and people would buy the other (WEB) version of the mixes (MM1-2-3) again as an alternative.
And of course, we'd be able to learn the correct names for mixes (remixes) marketing. Isn't it cool!
