The February Spherica is the first 'Calendar' track ever not to have its own unique artwork. A trend for 2025?
I wonder if they have they have given up on that, which is a shame as I like the effort to date make these unique pieces of art for every release. Or is it a mistake? I'll wager its a mistake as they've never done it before. But I can be proved wrong next month if its the same again.
Track itself is ok, not bad, not anything stand out, but is unlike a traditional FSOL tack as Enofa says. Not on the level of last month's January track which was very nice (and longish for a calendar track). Needless to say I still dig the Calendar concept and like getting a new present each month. Roll on!
I confirm no email for me for this February track either.

'Hushed Air' for March, again no email. Artwork this time, though. Recorded April 2023. Dark but with a groove. Very ISDN-ish vibes, feels like it came from the 7.003 sessions.

All gone quiet here. Tracks are still coming out, but still no emails or announcements. July's is 'cv/midi kent 001'. Recorded last year, although it sounds very '90s-ish to me, other than the bitcrushed sound.
Re: FSOLDigital Calendar
October is '20.06 17th july 2017' - some familiar sounds but not what I'd expect from Music for 3 Books-era on the whole.

not going to lie i don't think anything from this years album is very good so far, all feels like bland demos.
Re: FSOLDigital Calendar
That was September's track. There is no October track yet.Enofa wrote: Thu Oct 02, 2025 1:49 am October is '20.06 17th july 2017' - some familiar sounds but not what I'd expect from Music for 3 Books-era on the whole.
Re: FSOLDigital Calendar
October's was Large Metal Container.
"you guessed it - recorded in a Large Metal Container on the south coast of England 2024..
reprocessed at 9Lw
engineered by Yage"
Drone piece, can't compare it to anything from the past other than bits of Unrealities maybe?

Large Metal Container - like a companion piece to Unrealities. The 'promo' to the 'album' if you like.... (my comment not what FSOL have said)
