Someone on WATMM posted a link to a blog with a lot of Peel sessions ( https://davestrickson.blogspot.com/2020 ... sions.html ) so currently re-listening to this:

Currently listening to the latest Autechre DJ set -

These two played back to back/mixed and was totally convinced it was an unreleased FSOL track circa Lifeforms/3D Headspace Tour or a new 'reimagined' version of Lifeforms like the My Kingdom/Yage/Cascade/We Have Explosive releases :

Ha, I started skipping through that to try and find the bit you meant and the first thing I heard was the Humanoid track at 4 minutes!
There's definitely an FSOL vibe to those tracks together, that Minced Oath track is like an Electric Brain Storms cut meets Cascade 2020. Might have to give that full album a listen.

For those that liked the 'long-form' fsol tracks (think Environments [1], Globular, those recent Mind Maps preview pre- show mixes) this is definitely worth a listen. Keeps on sounding like it's about to break into mid-90s atmospheric d'n'b but instead goes into lifeform environments:

Oh, I love anything like this. A lot of sound collage tends towards the unmusical, so anything that has that weird longform abstraction but also manages to throw in elements of melody and rhythm properly appeals. Every now and then I come across something like that and it always goes down well.
