What are you listening to?
Re: What are you listening to?
I made 5 CDR´s from it. Listening in 45-50 min parts with pauses inbetween works better for me than listening to all 5 in a rush.
It´s an awesome release I reckon so far. Still think that elyc6 0nset is a bit too long, but eastre on the other hand is pretty cool.
The whole first part alone is worth at least half the price of the whole package. '13x0 step' is so fuckin´ intense. There´s that monumental, weird Sci-Fi-atmosphere again I also got from Exai with those massive reverbed synth-walls and shreds of melodies on top. Love that.
PS elseq 5 is the killer. The last track is completely mindblowing. Like VLetrmx21 from 95' 'Garbage'-ep, but in a weird "Exai"-kind of way

Current 93 - I Am the Last of All the Field That Fell
Somehow manages to be both the band's most accessible and most barmy release to date.

a growing sickness in the heart
defective, lack of control
the cure is somewhere in the silence
but I’m crushed by the noise inside

Re: What are you listening to?
Funny,
I was seeing a Guetta concert yesterday
[for free of course, I wouldn't buy Guetta ticket, like, never]
- He's obviously a DJ superstar, but very little talent, DJ or other...
- The SOUND was amazing, the show was nice, young girls screaming everywhere, but the music was... well 2/10 barely

Newest:
Death In Vegas - Transmission (LOVE IT!)
Morgan Delt - S/T (awesome psych rock)
...and tons more which I haven't had the chance to focus on yet. A lot of good shit getting released right now IMO.

Naah seedy, I went with my friends,
Two of my friends are making these concerts happen, and they told the SOUND will be insane new tech that I gotta hear - and they were right
look at this insanity: http://eaw.com/anya-sound-system/

Plaid - The Digging Remedy
Continues where Reachy Prints left off. I like it, though I think the last one felt a bit more consistent.
Gold Panda - Good Luck And Do Your Best
I liked "Lucky Shiner", the second one was a bit meh, but this here again is rather lovely.

NEW ROBERT RICH! He did it again! Flawless.
also
Young Gods - Music For Artificial Clouds (and some more YG, it's been years..)
Kelli Ali - Rocking Horse (nice, but not diverse enough)
Blackhill Transmitter EP's (these give me a bit anxious feeling)
yet to listen to
Peter Christopherson - Time Machines II
Amon Tobin - Chaos Theory Remixed
The Young Gods - Super Ready/Fragmenté
Gravity Kills - Manipulated (remixes, I don't exactly have too high hopes for this but it'll probably have some decent tracks)
