Worth the wait. It's a really nice track and love that it is all DX-7 samples. I love the DX-7. Wish I had one! I've got the Volca FM which has a similar sound set.

It's amazing how totally un-FM it sounds.

I know. They really are masters of sound, mutating the DX sound set to fit the FSOL pallet.

Hiya FSOL Calendar subscribers,

Hope everyone’s ok...

Here’s The track for July. This one is another track from FSOL, entitled “Utterance”. Recorded at 9LW in Feb 2019 and engineered by Yage.

Enjoy.

Another bleepy synth jam - I get the feeling Environment Seven might sound strangely close to the Six expanded universe. Nice track, though!

Really enjoying the August track. Some dark tribal dance style FSOL is always a good time.

Interesting backstory on this one, too:

"Began life in the early 2000s, seems to have been tampered with in 2011. Final finish last week."

It does sound a bit like their post Dead Cities (1997-1999) work. I'm surprised that it was started even later than that. It also sounds like it could have been made in 94-95 around Lifeforms/ISDN. It's a very interesting one!

Hiya Subscribers,

Here’s the track for November. This month's track is from Humanoid, titled "Ikzum". It was created in Feb 2020.

Enjoy.

Link in the email won't work for me, but I grabbed it through my FSOLDigital account. Nice track, very moody, reminds me a lot of the first ACV.

Just flipped over to December in my AA calendar and wondering if there is any news of a 2021 calendar? I really look forward to getting these tracks every month, especially during these challenging pandemic times.

Hey up,

End of year track comes from FSOL - Belly (2020).

Not sure when this was first written but the Atari discs were found and this was created

Have a happy year transition

Much love from the FSOL crew

Enjoy.

FSOLdigital
It's a remix of 'Into the Belly' from Covert 3. Prefer this version, a lot more space, more variation in the arrangement and dynamics.

No news on a 2021 album. Can't imagine they wouldn't choose to do one, but who knows! We'll find out in the next few days I'm sure.
