Humanoid - Stakker Humanoid feature in CU Magazine 1989

Post by mcbpete »

Taken from Commodore User magazine Issue 65, February 1989 (page 90 + 91)

Brian seems to be Brian Dougan (without the s) here, and they keep mentioning it sampling Gorf .... but it's Berzerk right ?!

Stakker are the shape of your television's future with programmes that make Max Headroom look like Kenneth Kendal

Yeah, it's 100% Berzerk. I mean Gorf has a robot voice too but it's definitely not that game :D

Awesome find Pete! I love interviews from eras we know comparatively little about. Good to see poor fact checking and typos were a thing in the FSOL media presence right back then.
Speaking of, here's an article I found when writing my Eurotechno article last week. It was written after Brian and Buggy had left Stakker so I didn't post it, but there's some potentially interesting stuff about the making of the video.
