I don't have a Facebook page for my music, pretty pointless these days unless you're a hugely successful artist. Have enough followers on Twitter and Soundcloud as it is.
I only use Facebook as an easy way to stay in touch with people I don't see regularly or speak to on other sites.

Re: Terminal Window 2
Mine starts with birdsong, surprise surprise.
Will listen to this on Friday. I see Herd already got us a mention on Dark Floor.

Re: Turning 30 with FSOL :)
Happy birthday! Less than two years until my 30th - I have it as a deadline to at least be vaguely happy with where I'm living and working.

Re: Terminal Window 2
I have to say, the unveiling of Five Minutes Alone is quite exciting for me, really wonderful to know people will be hearing that mix especially.

Re: Stakker - Eurotechno (the whole video)
Gaz was in bands before FSOL, playing stringed instruments. I think the post-Dead.Cities era saw him returning to playing guitar rather.than learning it... I always assumed it was Gaz in that video, they did that Bacteria from a Baboons Stomach thing on their tape label pre-Stakker and he helped on ...

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
I think the fact the tracks are difficult to identify is one of the reasons it's so enjoyable, as it's not as tempting to sit and play spot the era like it was with volumes 1 - 3 especially.

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
To be honest, the only ones I can get an era from have either been identified, or I guessed at in my post. I would guess that most of the piano was added recently by Dan Pemberton, though, as he's mentioned in the credits.

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
I'm going to take a guess from 'Lost in the Mists of Time' that the archives are now including outtakes from the Environments series. I'd even go so far as to say that if this was released as an Environments album, nobody would question it. Lost in the Mists of time is incredible. The next run of tr...

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
Actually, one of the reasons I buy instead of pirating is to limit how much music I have. Music is much easier to enjoy when it's not in competition with the other twenty albums I downloaded at the same time. There are only so many hours in the day...

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
One thing I dislike about the anti-piracy argument is the idea that everyone downloading would be buying. That post on the last page talking about how much money was lost through the 1000+ downloads - I wonder how many of those people would have definitely gone out and bought it if they hadn't had t...

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
It appeared on various sites a few hours after it was made available from FSOLDigital. Typical, really.
I am hoping mine will be waiting on my doorstep when I get back home this evening.

Wow, this video's from 13 months ago. I wonder how much of the music will be from Environments.
