literally reading this thread now and an email popped up from fsol bandcamp ..guess what fsol digital calendar 2024!! spooky!

10 years now since i posted about tomorrows harvest coming out and nothing since(apart from some remixes)

i do hope they are both ok and happy in their lives

we've had some brilliant music from them even if they're not the most prolific!

Noted it is Gaz's birthday today..must be cos facebook told me..but he's gone quiet on twitter and facebook so has anyone heard or seen him recently?

Yeah, I think FSOL isn't in organic ambient mode at the moment.


I think the word organic might be a good way of describing what I'm talking about. the current music sounds the opposite, it sounds really rigid. there are no real grooves or much warmth. I listened to it again earlier and ...

I know what you mean..i asked gaz once why 'i turn to face the sun' was only 4 minutes long and was there a longer version available,he replied just think of it as 4 minutes of perfection saviour it more lol


Maybe you can do your own edit of the said track?

This is sounding really promising especially the 'something Underworld might make when they do their really unashamedly up, beautiful feel good stuff'
