Re: Winter of the World

https://f4.bcbits.com/img/a1611448736_16.jpg Fluvial Lake , our fifth album, is now available from New Motion as a cassette and digital download. This one's a bit less collagey and more straight-forward ambient, although there's still a fair bit going on in some of the four ten minute tracks. The l...

Re: Noel Gallagher/AA album thread

Absolute Radio are doing a weeklong 24 hour a day Noel Gallagher station called Absolute Radio Noel, from 11th to 18th June, and apparently exclusive material will be played. I wonder whether he'll throw some Amorphous sessions in there. It'll probably be reported if he does.

Re: FSOL - Music for Three Books / Music from Calendars

Thanks everyone :) Definitely an honour to be involved - when I started my first FSOL site, listing every known ISDN transmission, I would never have believed you if you'd told me I'd be credited on a FSOL album and finishing up a collaborative record with Brian 20 years later.

Re: Forgot their yet anotehr alias

That's a bunch of work-in-progress tracks by Brian and Will, think they leaked from a security breach on yage.co.uk back in early 2009. Some nice bits in there (and some very un-FSOL house tracks) but none of it sounds finished.

Re: Enofa - Shattered Infrastructure out now

New mix, Discarded Analogue Simulations , features a couple of tracks from my next album, as well as a preview of the kind of mood it'll take. Hint: a lot darker than most of my recent material. https://www.mixcloud.com/BricolageG5/headroom-18-enofa-presents-discarded-analogue-simulations/ Blackhill...

Re: Humanoid - Orfan Atmosphere EP

The last time I bought a FSOL CD in a shop was the first three Archives, which I'd seen were coming out, but weren't very well advertised at the time - the start of FSOLDigital was very much an experiment - so I was pretty surprised to see them in Crash Records in Leeds before they were even on sale...

Re: Humanoid - Orfan Atmosphere EP

My guess would be sales are probably far better on Bandcamp due to its many benefits (streaming, unlimited re-downloads, multiple formats, adding to your personal collection), and that means they might be forgetting to pop stuff on FSOLDigital for some releases. Music for 3 Books isn't on there yet ...

Re: FSOLDigital Calendar

The voice reminds me of the vocal sample in Artificial Placement of Emotion, so I would imagine it's a new track. It's absolutely gorgeous anyway, one of the best Calendar tracks to date I think.

Re: FSOL - Music for Three Books / Music from Calendars

I wish I knew. There's nothing on the long-term radar that I know of, but even despite having some behind-the-scenes knowledge, last week's Humanoid EP took me totally by surprise, so I couldn't say anything with any confidence. I'm definitely up for more BHT though, it's my favourite FSOLDigital si...

Re: FSOL - Music for Three Books / Music from Calendars

I think that one might have been on my original suggestion actually - as I say, mine was basically a first draft that underwent changes after passing over to the band.

Re: Fractional Difference - Exploring FSOL song-by-song

Cheers. Should hopefully have the Papua tracks done tomorrow or Tuesday, then I'm away for a week so won't be moving on with the rest of 1992 until the week after.
