Continuing my playthrough of the Pod Room collection today I'd totally forgotten that they did a similar pre-show experimental noisey-droney set 30 years ago (the first 25 minutes of this):

Just finished the last of the Kiss Transmission (number 6) and wow what a collection they are. This 10ish minute run on part 6 is just incredible:
