Re: What are you listening to?

For those that liked the 'long-form' fsol tracks (think Environments [1], Globular, those recent Mind Maps preview pre- show mixes) this is definitely worth a listen. Keeps on sounding like it's about to break into mid-90s atmospheric d'n'b but instead goes into lifeform environments: https://enmoss...

Re: FSOL inspired track

Mix is fine, proper ol' skool - love it ! Perhaps even run it through something like https://fuseaudiolabs.de/#/pages/product?id=300811205 or https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/trtascamportaone/ for even more of a 90s pro-sumer vibe

Re: Future Sound of London Gear List?

It's curious looking at the release dates for the equipment they were using by 1993. A lot of it was already vintage gear that was 10-20 years old My guess: They were cheap ! At around this time it was approaching peak digital synth use and analogue was seen as old news. It wouldn't be for a few mo...

Album has been described as the best thing the creators of The Future Sound of London and The Amorphous Androgynous have ever done.

Fabulous, in this era of churned out AI generated blandness it's great to see the effort put into something so intricate :) Can imagine this being a fast reaction indie game that's somehow a cross between: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7xYInfT7cY&t=520s and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRb...

The wonderful War Machines was on last night's Autechre mix - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0025lh4
The addition of the slow brass notes from the previous track (deep glens - 6-14) mix amazingly well with it

Re: New EP, Captures, out 5th November

This is the first proper FSOL EP in a very long time. We've had some digital bonuses, a few remix 12"s and an early Archives best of, but in terms of a bunch of new tracks under the FSOL name, am I right in thinking this is the first since We Have Explosive? Would Gigantic Globular Burst count...
