A new compilation featuring various electronic artists has just been released. An Electronic Tribute To Antarctica features over 100 minutes of specially commissioned music inspired by the Earth's southernmost continent. Featuring a range of genres from ambient to dubstep and everything else inbetween.

The album can be downloaded here as mp3 (Click to download) or as FLAC (Click to download) and will soon be available to purchase on CD (details to follow).

A rather belated New Year message, hope 2009 was grand and that 2010 is a flipping great year to remember. Expect in the next few months some remixes, exclusive new tracks, compilation appearances and after what seems an age - a brand spanking new album too. We now just need some warmer weather :)

Sorry, as you were ....

Just over a year ago Rook and Squee from watmm.com came up with the idea of getting users of the site to create a brand new soundtrack to accompany the film Metropolis. Finally after many months Zazen has resurrected the project and is nearly finished. The completed videos have been put up onto the site watmmopolis.blogspot.com and cubus have produced the soundtrack to Part 7 of the film, which can quite handily be seen below:

Over the last few weeks Cryptowen from buzzchurch.com has asked for tracks themed towards the end of the world. An exclusive 14 minute track by cubus features on the first of these compilations in the style of apocalyptic dark ambience. We hope you enjoy !

10 similarities is a 70 minute mix set that I've been working on on-and-off for the past year. It mixes together the tracks and artists that have been an influence on more recent cubus tracks (and tracks that I've loved in general !). A lot of time has been made to make sure that all the tracks fit together as nicely as possible.
