So everything until track 17 is (more or less) the same, then the tracks that are not from the Environmental section are different cuts (usually shorter) except for Little Boats which is about 40 seconds longer on the CD version.
I'm really enjoying each of these but Views is a great listen from start to finish, even the previously released songs work better in the context of this album. I over I played Viewed from Rosey's Perspective when I got the album so I'm surprised that didn't make it onto the CD. Archived is a great selection of songs but I think Water Hole should be on there if it is supposed to be like an Archives best of, that track deserves to be wheeled out again like Mango Tree and Lizard Crawl.
Not that I want to discourage people from buying this, but it is up on Spotify now, which is good news for my FSOL playlist.
So after listening to Environment Six on vinyl today I found to my surprise that ´Silence in her eyes´(3:30) from Environmental is actually a longer version of the E6 vinyl only track ´Silent around them´(2:30)...
So Environmental is not entirely new stuff then
That said I Love Environmental...and Views... and Archived Yes in that order...

bit of a shame tbh. I usually buy copies from itunes / beatport etc... and listen on spotify, which means the artists i like get the one-off payments and the incremental streaming payments. A double win.
hi all, received my AEV vinyl, a quick question - is everyone having excessive surface noise on these records? well, not noise, but clicks (of course, I am not talking about those that are in the music itself)
ah, no, it's not static... they are pressed into the record. i'm just not lucky with vinyl... mine is number 124, strange it has so many imperfections. well i do not think it is worth trying to ask for a replacement since it is a limited edition. i have flac download anyway
