My next EP is going to have a much more consistent style. Maybe everyone will agree that it's crap

i wouldn't even worry about that dude
you gotta do you and create your vision
let others sort it out as they will
all of this feedback likely plays into your subconscious anyway so adjustments will be made "behind the scenes" without you even putting focus to it
thaz my 2 cents

Yeah, I agree. I'm pleased with my first EP - always been a dream of mine to create some music that I could genuinely think was pretty good but I never really thought I'd ever do it. It might be a long way from perfect, but I think with that EP I can cross that goal off my list. Now I'll try and improve - definitely taking on board any feedback I've had for consideration as I move forward. Ross and Pande gave me some feedback when I was near the end of my EP, thanks guys
All I can do though is try and make something else that at least sounds half decent to my ears, I suppose. I just hope it doesn't go wrong and I get worse!
Have you worked on your EP any more yet?

oh no EP from me but plays 22 min long so perhaps it is lol
yeah actually i decided just about 2 days ago that i am 1000% done with fuxxing with this track.
it's as good as this novice is going to get it
that said i'm talking about the mixing. so now i need to apply some very light mastering before i call it a day.
doing a bit of reading up on that before i make my move.
it's coming soon and what a f'n relief it will be
i've been off and on with this damn tune for like 2 years haha
the next one will surely come faster as i spent a lot of time learning the ropes.
i'll still suffer to find the TIME to have this fun - but at least i know i'll be more efficient when i do!

i imagine that most people will just find it strange and probably novice.
the one thing peep won't question though is my effort and attempt to be creative

Thanks
I have done a 20 minute mix for Terminal Radio, gave it to Loose Link a while back - hoping it will show up in the new season. I'm always willing to get involved in any projects or collaborations

I've put up a new mix - tunes that feel bright and summery to me - quite an eclectic mix
It includes a brand new track by me called Nature 2.0.

I made what I think is a really cool mix for Halloween, maybe you'd like to check it out... if you dare
Combines industrial, dark ambient and horror movie music.
There's a bit of FSOL in there - bet you can't guess what without listening Also a very, very short bit of our very own Five Minutes Alone.
Particularly happy with our cover of Dead at Dawn, originally by Sun Dial.

Made a dark ambient track as an outro for my new EP. I included it in my Halloween mix, so I've put the track up on YouTube and Soundcloud if anyone would like to listen.
