Did anyone spot the CDs at any London shops? I checked HMV but nada. Should I trek to Sister Ray or Rough Trade first?

Surprised they're not in HMV, the first three volumes were reliable finds in them for a couple of years. I haven't actually been into a record shop for a few weeks so can't say, although Sister Ray and Rough Trade are definitely your safest bets. I'm waiting for mine in the post at the moment...

Ronnie - beyond Sister Ray can you let me know what HMV stores you've been in that say they don't have it? We'll let the distributors know. We're definitely just talking about the CD here aren't we?

Sister Ray was mixed up, they had it listed just under Wizards of Oz, when I explained who it was, the girl was like "no shit?" but they were still out of stock. I'll trek to Rough Trade tomorrow. yeah CDs only.

Score! Rough Trade is fully stocked, it's #5 on their album of the month chart, on every listening station, and peeps were buying several when I was there. Still a couple of vinyl copies too.
