Is Julian House doing art for FSOL recently? There´s surely some Hauntology-style going on with their latest EBS-related art. Nice.:)

Is EBS10 going to have it's own separate release?

I did listen to that part of the Terminal Broadcast, sounded good. Now I just need to find time to fit the whole 3 hour session in, I really want to hear it all!

So, EBS10, a quick deconstruction :)

- The track time-stamps are pretty easy to put, since all the tracks are separated with some awesome spoken samples :)

Tracklist:
00:00 Film Polski - Vietnam (unreleased? rare edition?)
03:37 Zeebox - Sewage Worker (Triangle) [FSOLdigital]
04:55 The Future Sound Of London - 滅亡 (Archive 8- Edit) [FSOLdigital]
08:28 The Future Sound Of London - Unfurl (Archived) [FSOLdigital]
10:20 The Future Sound Of London - EBV Answer Machine (The Knowing Collectors) [FSOLdigital]
11:32 The Future Sound Of London - Lakeside (from Touched: Music For Macmillan Cancer Support)
13:46 The Future Sound Of London - Driving Round [FSOLdigital]
15:03 End.

- Film Polski (as explained in the mix), is Simon Lewin who made a song out of a poem and added his beats. The (radio) announcer is excited and he actually describes industrial music, as this Film Polski guy was active in the mid 80's. He took the name Film Polski from state-run film production and distribution organization of Poland, founded in 1945. The poem is by Adrian Mitchell, named To Whom It May Concern (Tell Me Lies about Vietnam), first read on Trafalgar Square in 1964. Film Polski releases are very hard to find, so I can only assume Brian has some rare vinyl...

- Sewage Worker (Triangle) by Zeebox is a kind of new piece. It's not the same track as Sewage Works from Zeebox Vol.2, but it is similar, maybe another take from the same session or maybe some re-brushed re-imagined work.

- Then we get to have a peek in the forthcoming Archive 8 with an edit of the Japanese titled 滅亡 track. 滅亡 translates to DOWNFALL, but separate characters translate differently, for example 滅 translates to FLASHING and 亡 translates to PERISH, so FLASHING PERISH sounds a lot cooler and scarier than DOWNFALL, probably why the title remains in original Japanese.

- Unfurl is another Archived piece which will probably not end up on Archive 8. It's a serene piece that maybe needs a little more brushing... It'll pop up on a official release some day I'm sure...

- EBV Answer Machine (The Knowing Collectors) - more archived work from the old days, the answerphones sessions maybe? cool stuff...

- Lakeside got released last year on the cancer support compilation Touched. We expected it to appear in some form on the Environments series but so much has happened with the ENV series since then, so it seems they got their own Archive material now...

- Driving Round - another unreleased environmental piece with confusing title (Driving Around would make more sense, no?)

BONUS: another exclusive FSOL/AA piece appeared on Terminal Radio 22,
the Neotropic remix of The Discision, Cartel Vol.2 short piano themed track that got expanded by Neotropic into full track with very nice vocals.
- Why was this not on the Cartel Remixes ??

I think the vocals were from Beings of Light on E5...

Indeed they are - and they sound even better with the piano in the back,
but Beings of Light has better atmosphere and fits better in E5.

^^ I just came on to post that as well :)

So I guess that's kind of a release of its own :)
