It does sound like the Zeebox project, so... I don't know...

Bits of it does sound like Brian. The Zeebox textures, there's some very spacey sounds that reminds me of that Long Day track/video. Plus the sound is pristine, unblemished, rather than a woozy 30 year old tape.

Oh, btw, there's a new addition to fsoldigital. A grey version of the Papua t-shirt.

If you were going for naff hipster, I thought you had to ADD the woozy 30 year old tape sound. ;)

As I said on the last page - the reason I think it has to be one of the guys (or at least someone they do actually know) - is that they're selling copies of it on their site. Would be a bit naughty to put something up and make money from something they haven't created (or at least know who to send the royalties too)

Nothing wrong with woozy tape sound, added or not.

It does sound an awful lot like Zeebox, but I dunno.. I think it's pretty clever to put it up on FSOLdigital - obviously Brian is interested in tracking these guys down, and has been for some time. What better way to do so than to spread the word by making it available on the web in 2014 - surely if these guy(s) do surface, they'd get their dues.

One thing I'm confused about - why is the release credited under the name Glass Girl (which is the name of the first track) when the cassette cover clearly states "Lost Generation"? :?:

I'm gonna put it down as 'questionable' on the discography, at least. Nice to keep up the mystery. ;)

It used to, these days I've learned to accept it as part of FSOL's way and would probably be annoyed if they were always straightforward.

Sounds cool. When you buy FLAC you get the MP3 version too, right? :)
