I got Volume 1 of that off iTunes when my daughter was born in an attempt to soothe her with ambient white noise (I used FSOL's Environments 2 with my son, which worked up to a point - Factories and Assembly to be precise!). I stumbled upon the series when trawling the web for FSOL news in the boredom room that was my last job.
Volume 1 is wave-tastic! I'd be surprised if Brian and Gaz weren't aware of them to be honest.

Any inside news on Environments 6? We saw the sleeve in the Artworks book, so I was hoping it would be sometime in 2015.

The new cuts (from the old sessions) of the Lifeforms with more Fraser vocals and stuff were done,
but Virgin (as the owner of the original Lifeforms material) did not wanted to release it...
- That's the short version of the story...
- There are of course other ways to release it, but it will probably never see wide audience, because the guys are swamped with dozens of projects anyway...
