Should we post it here - or not...?
Sorry, I'm going to be a real spoil-sport and say 'no' for the time being - maybe Ross could get clarification from one of the boys.

What I'm thinking happened (and this is complete speculation !) is they uploaded the track to soundcloud for us to listen/preview with the temptation of getting the full 320kbps quality version from the fsoldigital store. However when they uploaded it they forgot to switch off the 'download' feature for the track and it went freely downloadable until it got noticed about an hour later.

As I say - complete speculation. But it's quite possible that was the series of events. But thanks for querying first man - much appreciated :)

Well, as I say, the default option on the classic version is downloads disabled - so it does seem a little odd. But we can take it that as it's now set to that, they don't want it downloaded (for whatever reason). I think the reason it's on Soundcloud is because of the licensing issues regarding selling it on FSOLDigital, so I doubt it'll turn up there.
I'll drop official types an email to see if we can clear it up. Until then - no sharing on the board. :)

It's only been downloaded twice, however.

At around the 16 min mark, I detected (with headphones) what sounds like Gary's voice in the background heavily processed. Or did one of you spotters trace it to something else?
play this backwards and you'll hear evil messages

With a little bit of delay I finally got to hear this. Fascinating stuff anyway. The tracklist offers the most obscure stuff ever on any FSOL-mix, for my tastes. With the exception of one or two names I never heard of any of those artists. Great to have much of that super-rare 70ies stuff, there's some real trippy shit on there. And there's that mysterious french guy from ebs5 again, I really wonder from where this recording is. It that's from some documentary I would be really curious seeing this!

It does very much remind me of EBS5 in terms of style too: Psychedelic and feverish

Probably just coincidence but listening to this SND mix set a few months ago, the voice in this track sounded really similar tonally to his:

FFwd to 35:36

The track is Willem De Ridder – GOD (Grote Oto Derby) Part I (from GOD – Grote Oto Derby)

EDIT: Ugh, thought I'd sorted souncloud links out. In the mean time it's this -

Pete, do you mean... the narrating voice is from Willem De Ridder – GOD (Grote Oto Derby) Part I ??

Because the track playing in the back is Vangelis - Heaven & Hell Part I

I just thought they sounded similar (albeit in a different language), the intonation of the voice in the Willem De Ridder track (35:36 - 36:30 in this mix really reminded me of the EBS man's voice. As I say, probably just coincidence
