That's not so bad. I think it's wise to see how things progress, myself. Set a deadline a bit further down the line.

Yes Dub, the final deadline is November 15.

If I keep pushing this back, its going to end up like Terminal Window 2 did. And this is for a 15 minute mix, not two tracks! Tracks take alot more time and effort to craft, which makes the the long deadline more understandable, but mixes are different because most of the work is already done for you because using somebody else's songs! And your own work as well that you've already finished! The work comes when you figure out which songs and how they going to work together, for a hour mix that's understandable, but this is 15 minutes!

This is supposed to be a mix series promoting Window, not replace it! Best to finish this before we start Window 3.

I'm not asking for the greatest mix you can ever come up with, Akkya's has up to seven songs that's largely made up of his own material, but it mixes so well with each other. Nmesh has nine total, but he's already started it earlier this year. Noisesurfer has more than that but he improvised his in one night and managed to come up with a surprisingly great mix, Sven has around seven that he put together quickly but sounds great, I started mine last night and already half done.

Seriously now that the date's the 15th, even if you have work, you have four whole weekends to work on this, FOUR. That should be plenty!

It's just that some of us might have other things to do with our spare time as well, I don't think this comes as a priority in life to anyone, which is why it just seemed a bit short notice at first. I'm currently doing 12 hour days including travel to work so I spend most of my time off catching up on actually being alive - reading, listening to music, spending time with my girlfriend - not making mixes for here. ;)

But yes, the 15th sounds fine.

Depending on the player the tracklisting should be there in the Comments field in the place that you can view/edit ID3 tags (I think I added the timecodes too). Hang on I might have the tracklisting somewhere else ....

EDIT - here it is:
Celer - Engaged Touches (Part 1)
TU M' - Monochrome #04
Alva Noto - Xerrox Monophaser 2
Twine - Surfaces
Kreng - Meisje In Auto
Jónsi & Alex - Boy 1904
Untitled (Taken from Autechre autechre.ws 8hr Radio set 2005-04)
Jürgen Paape - Ausklang (Burger Voigt Mix)
Paavoharju - Tuoksu tarttuu meihin
Pivot - Fool In Rain
Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto with ensemble modern - Broken Line 1
BJ Nilsen & Stilluppsteypa - Man From Deep River Part 3
Jacob Kirkegaard - Swimming Pool
Dakota Suite / Jacaszek - How Could You Let Me Go
Machinefabriek / Soccer Committee / Taylor Deupree - For I Am Distant
Tim Hecker - Borderlands
Alva Noto - Xerrox Sora
Kreng - The Black Balloon & The Armadillo (Edit)
Goldmund - The Gardener
Balmorhea / Jacaszek - Night in the Draw
Brock Van Wey - Too Little Too Late
Balmorhea / Rafael Anton Irisarri - Harm & Boon
Kreng - Merope
It was a mix I made for the other half of cubus when he went away to America for a while - I made this to show him all the great tracks I'd found during that time.

Awesome mix Pete! How old's the mix? Never heard it before.

Would you be able to make a 15 minute edit of this? Either as a back up for volume 1 or for volume 2? The first 15 minutes will be fine, or your favourite 15. Then if you like the rest can be spread out over the next few volumes.

Also has this been released anywhere before? Limited is fine. Old mixes are acceptable, but also exclusivity will add to the attraction of Terminal Radio.

OK so I've been away on vacation for the last 1.5 weeks but I'd very much like to contribute a 15 minute mix for Terminal Radio (either volume 1 or 2). I've been working on a new hour mix for the Stasis Podcast so I'll probably get you a short mix that incorporates some of that material and some other Window-ish stuff. I'll send that over soon. Cheers!
