My Kingdom re-imagined / Isness - Record Store Day release
Re: My Kingdom re-imagined / Isness - Record Store Day relea
Just listening to it for a third time on Monday. This is just so pure FSOL. Easily up there with their absolute best releases in the last decade.
Track called 'Collapsed Structures' (possibly 'Sound Shadow', difficult to discern) has this intense electronic drum percussion on it, later backed off with Dead Cities style choir vocal. Awesome.
As I implied above, it's quite difficult to know where one track starts and the next begins on the vinyl! FSOL purists will understand this as a good thing

Those samples sound incredible. I'm gutted I missed out on the vinyl.

There might be some still available when the CD and digital copies are up next month on the fsoldigital shopBlinker wrote:Those samples sound incredible. I'm gutted I missed out on the vinyl.

I really hope so. Even if I do miss out I can still get the CD so it's not a total loss. For some reason though I have proper vinyl lust about this one, haha.mcbpete wrote:There might be some still available when the CD and digital copies are up next month on the fsoldigital shopBlinker wrote:Those samples sound incredible. There are definitely 12" copies coming to FSOLDigital in the coming weeks so hold tight.
Of course the 12" doesn't feature the last two tracks from the CD, so...

Sounds amazing! Collapsed Structures, Path 9 and Populate sound especially good. Looking forward to listening to the CD in its entirety. Thanks for sharing.Ross wrote:Some fairly lo-bitrate samples for the impatient.

I clearly wake up too early. It's like when I was a kid on xmas day. Waking up, excited, then having to wait for the grown-ups
I'm imagining Gaz in his dressing gown, eating a bowl of Coco Pops, rubbing his eyes as he adds these new releases to the website

CD ordered, just in time for it to not arrive on Monday because of the bank holiday. It's a shame they don't do pre-orders anymore like they used to.
