Re: FSOL Wiki
Although I try to reflect the wider fanbase's views, I mostly attempt to keep it fairly neutral, but it was difficult not to go overboard in describing 'The World is Full of Plankton'. That track still gives me shivers today.

Stereo Sucks
A Gigantic Globular Burst of Anti-Static
I only realised today just how much I like the Globular EP.

A quick nip back to the '80s...
Zeebox 1
Zeebox 2
And then to some brand spanking new electronic material
Four Forests
The San Monta Tapes
Hand Made Devices
It's weird, I absolutely hated The San Monta Tapes when it was release and I fucking love it now.

Reminds me of an interview I read last nightRoss wrote:It's weird, I absolutely hated The San Monta Tapes when it was release and I fucking love it now.

Am I right in thinking this was during the period that there was a million releases per month (give or take) if so that explains why .... (hushed tones) I've not heard any of these yet!Ross wrote:And then to some brand spanking new electronic material

Re: FSOL Wiki
They were among the 12 releases that came with the launch of FSOLDigital. To this day I still haven't given them as close a listen as I should.
I also can never remember which track is which on the first three Archives, or which of the three they're on, a few exceptions aside.

Loving all the work on this Ross. Always been very curious about these Library Music things. I've been wondering if it's worth getting hold of the tracks. Have you heard them?
Re: FSOL Wiki
Yup, and they're all streamable on the Extreme music site - links are at the bottom of the individual pages! There are a handful of real gems in there too, ones which deserve to be on albums. A lot of the later library music ones feel like they were intentionally recorded for the purpose - basically they don't have much in the way of obvious lead melodies or themes, but these ones are all archived material so have a classic FSOL vibe. 'Dead Ringer' is one of their best tracks I reckon.
