Don't know about that, but when I listen to FSOL, any form of religious thinking goes flying out of the window :D

They're just that psychedelic, I sometimes actually wondered if "My Kingdom" is about that, as if they own the space.. but in the end, this is about art & music, and I guess this doesn't mean that they would go actually robbing banks, does it?

And you can rob banks and be "spiritual" at the same time, can't u?

There's also something super scary about the AA stuff hiding underneath the surface btw..

Not quite sure if it's a DJ mix or an album - I have a feeling it might be something different. As far as I know this isn't MPB4.

Not a huge fan of their psych funk stuff, but if it's spy themes and car chase music then it might be a pretty fun release.

I always find Amorphous as varied as FSOL on some levels - there's the spiritual hippy stuff, definitely, but also whimsical psychedelia like Mello Hippo, and groove based stuff. After that DJ Food remix, a lively, rhythmic focus doesn't seem so surprising.

Haha yeah maybe it's about a spiritual kind of robbing banks. And very meditative car chases :D

Ah fantastic, thanks for those links and welcome! That's the first of several remixes to come I think.

Nice! The remixes sound good! Sounds like they did a mix album and are layering original material on top, I think...

The One man Bankrobber, Playa Hustla, Jive Talkin' BasAssss Motha'... of the Cosmos :P

All very interesting, I'd say there's a few candidates for The Cartel on that Universal Publishing site, and elsewhere.

Spin meanwhile has stuck the whole Coastal Path remix on soundcloud:

Holy shit this track is Funky as Hell!

Awesome guitar playing/mixing, awesome slapping bass, it's like Miles Davis meets the flutes of blaxploitation...

I think it's about time AA release a double/triple CD of all the remixes they made, it will be a unique compilation...

Hmm, have to say I much prefer the Biosphere one to the AA one (though not sure about that piano sample - sounds way too dry, though it might grow on me) - there's only so many times I can hear a remix that's just wild freaking out guitars and flutes - Though the breakdown at 3:50 and the ambient section near the end is quite nice

Oh, I've just spotted that those lovely chaps at Beatport have an "Exclusive" Beatport Version of this release. The only thing exclusive about it if I am correct (other than the title of course) appears to be the price. It's almost three times the price of anywhere else. There may be some other difference but I'm buggered if I can see it.

I finally got hear this properly, on repeat a dozen times :)

It's a great track, very psychedelic, certainly better than the original.

By now we can say this is the standard AA MPB remix of a track,
but the truth is they always hit the spot, sometimes more sometimes less, but these remixes are actually wonderful.
