TOOL - Ænima Demos 1994 (Paul D'Amour Outtakes), I frickin love Paul on bass who without any doubt co-shaped the sound of Tool.
I had killed a man...a man who looked like me
Re: What are you listening to?
^^ What are the demos like? Much different from the actual album? Are there any demos that didn't make it on to the album at all?

Ozric Tentacles - Pungent Effulgent
First OT album I've listened to outside of the Vitamin Enhanced boxset. Very cool, other than recycling a couple of old tracks.

Well I only got into them at the end of last year. I'd considered them for a while, but it was actually you that gave me the last push I needed to start getting their albums I'm not regretting it so far

Re: What are you listening to?
Pretty much the same songs but the feel is different and more aggressive cos Paul plays the bass, thats why IMO Undertow is Tool at their best even though Aenima is a masterpiece. Don't get me wrong I love Justin who is a genius bass player both for his technique and for picking up where Paul left things without altering Tool's sound, but Paul is the shittt, Im sure with Paul Tool would have been a much heavier band today although Adam hinted that the new Tool album is going to be pretty heavy, cant wait.epitome wrote:^^ What are the demos like?
