Interestingly his biog on wikipedia has a section as follows (automatic translation from Dutch so the grammar is a bit off):
Master Storyteller

As a storyteller Knight has such great fame, he is usually heralded as a master storyteller Willem de Ridder . Every first Tuesday of the month, he tells ancient stories in the auditorium of the Melkweg in Amsterdam. He is a frequent guest on the Stories Boat in Zwolle and diverse tell festivals in the country. There are several places in the Netherlands called audio tours available, the listener through the voice of the storyteller a special radio play-like adventure is introduced, which for example can play in pristine natural areas or in the mysterious recesses of an old castle .
It has to be him. This is him talking in English:

Yeah, definitely. This is the voice. Cool find!
Maybe this release is of interest, esp. the "Isle Of The Dead"-part:

Strange that I always imagined that his talkings were from some documentary or something like that. Guess that points to his abilities as a Storyteller. He seemed to have established an interesting artistic form, where the story you listen to kind of influences and changes the mood and atmosphere of the environment you're in while listening to the story, from what I've understood.
I always imagined vaguely a south-american environment to his stories on ebs5, but that was obviously not intended, it rather came from the musical surroundings of the mix. Interesting.
