Great article and well done to the Guardian for squeezing some comment out of Brian! I think there's at least one interview on Ross' site that has an actual interview with Brian as well as Gaz, the one that talked about them going cycling together etc. after Gaz came back from his round the world dental trip.

I guess the other thing that struck me is how they're still very underground now, barring the occasional flirtation with Noel Gallagher. Things like this and the Mojo acceptance speech come across as a rare sighting of a band that likes to stay undercover. Gaz hasn't really said anything publicly since that speech for example, and a lot of people are totally unaware they're still producing material. I was reading a public Q&A thing of Kris Weston a while back for his kickstarter thing and someone actually asked him if he knew whether they were still alive! He didn't reply.

There are a few interviews with Brian - a nice old one from the '80s about their Manchester dealings, a couple of lines on early '90s ones, a couple around the time of The Isness, one recent one entirely with him, and this incredibly revealing one with Mixmag in 1996.
