Just seen this and I'm wondering how long it'll be until he gets together with Gaz Cobain seeing as Russell Brand seems to be a good friend of Mr.Gallagher.

Re: Awakened Man
It is possible, but I think, although Brand is a cool person, he's far to commercial for Gaz,
he's kind of a amateur compared to the ramblings of the Man
He is pretty far-out though...

You're doin' too much, do less.
Re: Awakened Man
I used to think of him as a bit of a douche (I don't like useless celebs), but his recent political outcomes has made me think a bit otherwise. Stupid he's not. Pretty bad comedian and posing as a rockstar even he's a bloody actor (this is a recent trend, have you noticed?)
AA are too underground for him to polish is image, so I think they'll left alone.

pretty much exactly my thoughts
i loathed this dude until recently
Re: Awakened Man
I've liked him for a while, he's written some pretty good articles about mental health problems and drug addiction for UK papers in the past. Can't stand him as a comedian/presenter/celebrity, but when he's being serious he's usually spot on.
I don't think they'd be uninterested because he's too mainstream - Noel is hardly an underground musician.

Re: Awakened Man
I seriously have nothing against the guy on a personal level, he's super well spoken and "oh-so-British"...
He has made some super tight remarks on the banking system and the recent politics, so I will seriously tip my hat for him.
As well as i will do with other people STANDING AGAINST THE TYRANNY.

Re: Awakened Man
Can you imagine the length of conversation 'tween Gaz and Russell - you could power a small country with the amount of energy released.
Re: Awakened Man
They'd probably start talking both at the same time, resulting in a small nuclear explosion after about 10 seconds...

..although i don't seriously think that Brand is any type of a great thinker
FSOL, on the other hand, has it's own logic. Don't test
The guy has some some has his attitude right 'tho, but I don' think that he's the best person to lead. Too much controversy (and I know tons of people who for some reason can't stand him). It's good to see this happening all over 'tho, so i must tip my hat for him for standing up. It's happening more and more..
