Enhanced... strange...
*I must have them *

Re: FSOL - From the Archives Volume 1 -3
I mailed fsoldigital about this to see if I can get an answer from them. It's not clear if the versions on their own site are the updated versions or not. Hopefully we shall see.

The CD versions are the same as the 2007 FSOLDigital MP3s.
Enhanced I have not heard of other than the EBS track. I will email Graham.

Re: FSOL - From the Archives Volume 1 -3
Listening to the Beatport samples, I'm going to guess this basically resolves the issue of the first three archives not seguing the tracks together. Why now, though?
Re: FSOL - From the Archives Volume 1 -3
Woah, so do you reckon these ones will all be mixed together ?! It seems silly but this has always been my draw to the band and inspired me (and Joe) to do the same thing with our cubus tracks. It would possibly be enough to make me purchase them again if that was the case ...Ross wrote:Listening to the Beatport samples, I'm going to guess this basically resolves the issue of the first three archives not seguing the tracks together. Yes, the segues/'environments' tying the albums together as single works always made FSOL records stand out to me when I was first getting into music, and obviously influenced my own musical direction. I'm hoping this is indeed what these records are.
Re: FSOL - From the Archives Volume 1 -3
From Graham:
"The Enhanced editions of 1-3 will be on FSOLdigital in download format fairly soon. There's no massive difference, as you guessed it's all the same tracks segued together to make those albums work better. There may be a little top and tailing to some of the tracks too."

What do you mean 'will hold off'
Beatport won't sell them at this moment?
Or that they will come out on fsoldigital too?

Re: FSOL - From the Archives Volume 1 -3
Well Graham via Ross has said they'll be on fsoldigital soon, which means it'll be almost half the price without beatport's cut, handling fee and additional tax.

Hopefully they'll have sorted the encoding too removing the l'il glitch between tracks for non iTunes users
Re: FSOL - From the Archives Volume 1 -3
I think he meant he'll hold off buying them until they appear on FSOLDigital at a sensible price.Pandemonium wrote:What do you mean 'will hold off'
