From what I've understood, they really are in the studio.. but I agree, they're way overrated. IMO their best work are In A Beautiful Place Out In The Country and Trans Canada Highway EPs (which are wonderful). Never really understood the hype of the albums, nothing that special.

Well I really do like most of the stuff they did, I think they're quite brilliant in what they do, but yeah, the hype around them is a bit inappropriate considered the fact they only released 3 albums and ep's in about 17 years.

I mean they still seem to have a wide audience waiting for any sign of a new release, and fsol with all their releases in the last five years got this little attention, this is kind of strange indeed. It's the same with aphex twin.

I dont think that BoC are overrated. Buddha was just a man, its not his fault people turned him into a God. Always loved BoC, their music had a huge impact and influence on me.

i heard BoC are working on a new one as well though the "source" only seemed "somewhat" reliable

i love BoC just fine but also find them a tiny bit overrated.

all said their music is rather simple.
nothing wrong with that it's just that i often look for a challenge in my music

Murmurations has just appeared on the electronicbrain account on You Tube, or at least part of it.

It also says it's available on cd and download now, so maybe the postie will have a something for us in the next few days.

Wow. To me it sounds a bit like Lifeforms meets the Isness. A Cobain/Dougans composition this time instead of the other way around.

Sounds very Amorphous-esque ... What's with that [no doubt purposefully] badly-looped drum loop that comes in at 0:45, makes my brain go all so very confused - The musician in me has an itch to re-set the start and end loop points of it.
