Ah ok. Somehow I thought there is some already heard stuff under different titles on the 3LP version. So it's all 'new'.

Then a digital version of this would be fine, indeed.

I'd be surprised if the CD version didn't have a download counterpart on FSOLDigital upon release.

The already released stuff on the 3LP is all named the same as their original releases so far as I know.

Available for preorder here:

"This Triple album brings together the two main strands of FSOL's current output, namely the "From the Archives" series and the "Environments" albums. Comprising a total 48 tracks, 35 of them are new or previously unreleased
Oh man, now I got it. Sorry, I´m a bit slow today :)

I guess chances for a download of all 48 LP tracks (or at least the 35 unreleased ones) via fsoldigital are quite low...

This seems to be the cover for the cut-down CD version.

I'm assuming this will turn up on fsoldigital before elsewhere, and/or maybe some digital alternative. The casing of the fonts trouble me for some reason, but then that's usually the case...

So after finally diggin out my turntable from the attic, I listened to the Environmental part of the 3x vinyl set for the first time today!
If you want to go in fresh, don´t click the link below..
[+] Oooh and did you know that ...
After the first few listens I have no words that can do it justice, it´s right up there with E6/6.5, it is that good!
More 6 than 6.5 maybe, it has that electronic sound with the beeps and blurps but yet sounds analogue in some way.

Edit: After a few more spins now i think its more 6.5 than 6, or something else all together :D
Nevertheless, this is brilliant stuff !

Pure awesomeness!

And this is after only a few spins, and it will grow big time with every future spin...

What are the guys having in their water lately, I want some of that stuff

Looks like we're in for another bumper year as fans: the RSD vinyl, Amorphous album, Blackhill EP, calendar tracks, and you know they'll drop another unannounced release on us sooner or later! Haha

Not to mention a couple of synths.
And possibly the new Humanoid album.

Totally should know know this, but aside from being a track on Dead Cities, what's the prominence of Herd Killing that you see on a lot of their stuff released since that album ?

Actually Pete, I'm not quite sure what's Herd Killing about.

FSOLdigital developed about 6-10 logos in the last 5 years - it's all pretty mystical :)

It's just something they like the look of, I think. As Pande says, there are many repeating logos on various releases now. We don't have Shauneen and the Electronic Brain anymore, but we have lots of these things.
