On speakers you'll really not notice the sound quality loss, they must've used a nice codec with some dithering shenanigans :)
Hurray for dithering! And shenanigans!

:)
There´s a download option for subscribers only (to buy membership) I'm curious if it's the good quality 320kbps mp3 version.

Really, only 96 kbit? I burned Tito's wav file as Cdr and it sounds very good to my ears even with headphones.

FYI the Mixcloud stream is a 29mb/66kbps(?!) .m4a file vs Frisky's 41mb/96kbps .mp3 so the Frisky is the definitely the better quality of the two out there ...

Just got round to hearing this, proper classic EBS - Really reminds me a lot of the older sets. Just a fantastic collection of tracks mulched together with all the great field noises and vocal snippets. Definitely missed this sound :)

The sound of the mixcloud file was ok too, but it had some glitches every few seconds from minute 20 circa. So maybe the low bitrate was responsible for this?
Anyways, the mix is brilliant for sure. Very reminiscent of the earlier volumes.

This will be repeated later in the month on Proton radio.

Can we please have some love for the Humanoid track now?

Great show. Shame about the file quality - I listened through headphones and it did have a bit of that wibbly sound that lower quality MP3s have - still, not enough to spoil it, it's an awesome mix, absolutely classic EBS :)

It is hard to keep track of which track is which, but I think I just about managed. Certainly knew when Humanoid came on because of Ross's earlier comment about it being insane (or whatever word he used). Have to agree, it was a great track. Obollis Two was easy to be sure of as well due it's similarity to Obollis (obviollisly).
