I think I'll try and do a couple clips for this. Love the idea. Can't go wrong with some video collage.
Should have some time while I'm on vacation in late April. Going to be doing a lot of photography and field recording then anyway!

Sounds good. I'm into particles and geometry. I'm making some good progress, but slowly. I think 30 seconds to a minute and a half is the max, due to render times on heavy geometry, after heavy testing today.
I gave up on the logo . Just couldn't get it right.

Ps I miss the countryside. So bring it :)

Wow, those look cool!
If you add more text about whos on and add music behind it, the third vid would make a good promo spot for Terminal Radio or Window 3. You know one of those 30 second TV type ad spots.

Same with the fourth one if you work on it abit more in the same way.

much appreciated, 30 secs seems workable up to 1 min depending on amount to render, really enjoying myself

I'll try and make a promo spot first. Seems sensible.
I think I'll try it for terminal window 3
And make it into a gif too for websites etc
It might be a good idea to ask about and or put in to terminal radio info text we are looking for visual artists maybe to join us audio guys over here at this forum.
Who knows we could all end up at the Tate !

Yeah, some cool stuff in here. I guess this whole project is going to take a bit longer to come together but I'm getting quite excited about this now. :)

Great stuff! Apart from all the material gathered, if there would be a way to combine this with Herd's graphics in motion, that would be something sensational I think :)

This can be done. Herd and I have talked about swapping files before, and we use the same software.
So mixing a moving herd 3d object with after effected visuals and some of ross' countryside, sounds very promising.

Here's a logo loop I've been working on, I'm going to detail it alot more:

Its meant to be slowed down and looped. Enter the url here to play around with it, even mirror it if you're that curious :D :

I'm also going to do lots of little bits of animation that we can super-impose on top of the other videos in parts, like hyperbirds, hallucinations and cartoon versions of Herd's creatures, just to make it interesting.

Best time to mention that I'm also creating heaps of other animations as well, hoping to get some work out of it. I've started a Facebook page that you all are welcome to follow:

At the moment there's a teaser for Karramantha, more largely known as Artilect, created by Herd:

Cheers, that logo might look better with abit of your 3d particles around it. I'm going to throw it into After Effects as well once its up to scratch abit to add some neon glows to it.
