Thanks Tim - yeah, this is basically the album I've always wanted to make, I'm really happy with it. Of course I have no idea where to go now!

Yup. Books tend to influence my stuff more than other music I think.

News bulletin:

Curtain Moon will be out on Bedlam Digital on 4th July.
And typically, around the same time, my other album of the year will be dropping too. Genderqueer Synth Diaries is a collection of lo-fi pieces composed on synths and drum machines and recorded to four-track tape. The label, Third Kind, premiered a piece from the album this afternoon on their Soundcloud:

Also, I've expanded last year's Thursday Morning, Taylor Swift EP to include the Estuary EP and a few other pieces into a sort of album with new artwork. You can grab that here.

Last but not least, a new website: House of Broken Clocks, an archive of sorts, collating my back catalogue. Or the parts I don't want to forget about, anyway.

Cool, nice one!

How many hours are in a Ross day? ;)

Not enough / too many.
This almost clears me out of material though, apart from a couple of collaborative tracks.

Intriguing answer :)

I suppose the same could apply to me, but I'm not sure if this is what you mean -
Not enough hours in a day for the stuff I want to do (making music, listening to music, eating music, etc), but too many hours in the day spent at a boring job or doing other necessary things. So basically, most hours in a day feel long and tedious, leaving not enough hours in the day for the good stuff!

yeah dang there goes that!

anyway i'm surely on the side of "not enough hours"
i hardly ever have time to do "me stuff"
my ancient tune has been done for months and months and i haven't found the time to package it up and get it online
i should aim for 2020 at this point :)

Curtain Moon has been renamed Myosphere and will definitely be out at the end of the year on No Problema Tapes. Almost getting the stage where I'm sick of the bloody thing.

In the meantime, there are a few collections of various lo-fi jams of mine, hardware-only things recorded to cassette. Two EPs this month and a couple of albums later in the year. Here's a preview:
