Full albums/concert links

Post by seedy »

this one follows the spirit of "what are you listening to"
just a way to share quality music and hopefully help each other find something new

please keep this to full albums/full concerts so that anyone can click a link and take a nice long ride of the full experience
let's keep these all streaming also - youtube, bandcamp, soundcloud etc.
and finally please reference what the link is so that we can browse and select at will

the irresistible force - global chillage

i hope peeps can get into this thread if only for my own greedy benefit

fsolboard jukebox! :D

Ah bloody hell, whole albums on YouTube and Bandcamp.
I could be here for hours / days posting good ones, but I suppose these are good ones that are sometimes ignored / unknown:

Cell - Hanging Masses

Carbon Based Lifeforms - Hydroponic Garden

Deaf Center - Pale Ravine (one of my all time top ten)

The Glimmer Room - Grey Mirrors

Secede - Bye Bye Gridlock Traffic

36 - Hollow

Bedroom - Shade & System

Luke Howard - Sun, Cloud
http://music.lukehoward.com/album/sun-cloud

Bai Tian & Kryzstof Orluk - Structure Of

Yagya - Rigning

Seedy - fear not, no drone here. Even the stuff without beats is pretty chunky and rich sounding ;)

There's some stuff on Ultimae I like, generally the less dubby/trancey end of it - both of those albums are gorgeous, melodically. :)

Yeah, Ultimae are cool that way, I use them for houseguests and people that are not my music-buddies :)

Ha, yes, a lot of it's quite easy going. That first CBL album really carries on the spirit of Global Communication's 76 14 for me, so it always got the thumbs up.

ok my friends.....now this one is well.....

"and now for something completely different"

it's phish - who you may or not know is my beloved....moreso than fsol, than anyone
music aside if you know about the grateful dead then you have an idea of how i kinda grew up with the band and such
oh the stories but i digress :)

this surely won't be everyone's cup of tea and hey - just like much of the music i love most - i kind of hated it the first time i heard it too :)

let me tell you though.....this is an organic album if rock ever had one. very unique sound and aura to the recording (low budget for one thing haha). the songs are as unique and as phish as they come. they will come off weird, boring, american....idk.
like i said i really didn't like it at first but nowadays it's like gospel :)

phish btw is really a live act (like the dead etc)
and they are a bit past their prime so whatever hopefully some day i'll post a great set of the good ole days
they were a motherfrackin live force to be dealt with for a number of years

mind ripping shite really it's kind of hard to tell from this album though :)
this was their first.....back in the mid 80s i believe
i hope some of yall can give it a go

phish - junta

hidria spacefolk

this band is extremely similar to ozric tentacles
for this reason i like them but there is always that thought in the back of my mind that they are "ozric lite"

this one is their very first album
