Downloaded that yesterday and will give it a listen today.

Other noteworthy Orb stuff is an exclusive yet rather overpriced single of Golden Clouds, with 81Neutronz, Oicho and Youth Gigantic Dreadnaught Dub Mixes on beatport:

The Youth remix does actually feature more samples from the original track it was based - Little Fluffy Clouds. Like I said, nice, but overpriced.

...and for the more old school, Volume 87 of Alex Patterson's weekly radio show can be downloaded here.

The point of that broadcast is that it was to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the release of UFOrb in the broadcast of their 1993 Brixton Academy gig. I think Volume 86, the one before it is another UFOrb Special featuring Special Mixes. Haven't heard it yet though.

Aye me too, does Perry get bored (or otherwise knowing Perry  ) about half way through, he seems to freak himself out with his echoey 'MCing' and then vanish for the rest of the mix !

I listened to the new album a few times on Spotify. It's decent, but I'm not sure if I will buy the real thing, probably not now that I think about it. But I am very much looking forward to finally seeing them live for the first time, in November!!! :D

I'm not entirely sure what to make of the album to be honest. I don't dislike it, but I'm not raving about it. To be absolutely honest, at the moment I prefer the instrumental version of the album, which is like a dubbed up version of Baghdad Batteries.

Hey, just found out the new Orb album to be a real fun thing to listen to. Fehlmann delivers solid dope beats as always, and Perrys vocals fitting very well, they add just like another sound to the music. Nice, flowing, unpretentious, and waaay better than their previous attempts in reggae-music. Although I'm not that much into all that stuff dub'n reggae, this one really works for me.
