Love it, the production is smooooth. Abbaon Fat Track is probably my favorite (and criminally underrated)... track.

Will listen during the night:

Dark ambient. First albums were pretty weak (although kinda pioneering), but this is absolutely awesome.

Thought you hated that one Ross! Are you dabbling with self harming, or have you finally got your head around it?

Not hated, just 'found a bit pointless'. I still don't like it that much, although the title track is lovely. Hyperborea now, much better.

Klaus Schulze - Shadowlands - 2013, new real new album, not even a week old :)

Miles Davis - Tribute to Jack Johnson 1970 - Complete Sessions 6CD 2003 Remaster - THIS IS MADNESS! most of the tracks on the sessions were never released until 2003, and they are ALL AWESOME - around the time these sessions were recorded a saying was popular "Miles ate rock stars for breakfast" :) - and after you hear this a couple of times you'll know why - this is the finest jazz/rock/fusion - John McLaughlin is young and out of control, Herbie Hancock also, the whole team is MADNESS!

Black Sun Empire - Light and Wires - 2010 - OMG the production... Dubstep meets DNB in the finest possible way :)
You're doin' too much, do less.

Vidna Obmana with Capriolo Trifoglio + Diego Borotti ‎– Landscape In Obscurity

Had a very intense dream after a long time, under these sounds, as this dark beauty was playing all night long. Woke up with a deep heartbeat, I think my dream was trying to tell me something, I just hope I dont let myself down as I understand the message from my subconscious.

Trying these guys out... I remember they had some good stuff, but never really struck me as that *cough* psychedelic as they're posing to be. Never really got into Spacemen 3 scene in general 'tho, so that could be the problem. Maybe I'll just digest this a bit..

His stuff has changed a lot over the years, there's a definite bluesy, gospelly vibe to his more recent material.

I absolutely loved their first three albums, plus the live at the albert hall thing. The impractical nature of the packaging for Ladies and Gentlemen We're Floating in Space (it's a pill box with a cd you pop out of a blister pack) meant I'm on about my third copy of it already. The packaging for the original version of Pure Phase was really odd too. A glow in the dark silver embossed bespoke cd box that looked radioactive if you woke in the middle of the night. My copy sadly was stolen.

Great packaging and music.

I've not really enjoyed the last few albums, and generally it never got better than Ladies and Gentlemen. I think I listened to Songs in A&E and never got round to buying it.

Black-"Wonderful Life",always nice and ironic, play with happiness and sadness in the dark room of memories, when i was child i hated this song for his feeling of lonely dark and frozen feels but with time...is more happy song that i thought when was young.
Timeless song!!!

Autechre - Exai , again and again and again - man it's just flipping fabulous. Just the level of detail in every aspect of the composition is simply mind boggling. They have really done such a sterling effort with this one, if this is their swan-song (though I doubt it will be, just saying if it is) then they would've ended their career on such a high.

Ah, Wonderful Life is an incredible song.

Waiting for my Exai to come in the post, I have the digital version from the Bleep purchase but always prefer to sit down with the physical version on first listen.

What other AE-album is "Exai" comparable with? Think I'll give it at least one try, still like Oversteps quite well.
