That's the one Ross :)
Most of the tracks are OK though - real teen rage :)

I never went through much of a teen angst phase really so it's something I don't get. I was listening to the euphoric sounds of eurotrance instead haha.

Nah me neither, closest I really got to that musically was the crunchy gloomy world of Zan Lyons

Clipping and overdriven noises was my rebellious streak musically ...

Biosphere - Substrata

Biosphere is my go to on hot, humid days, in the hope that listening to him will somehow trick my body into thinking I'm actually within the arctic circle.

Yeah true, same here, and the second one with arctic themed electronic music that helps me imagine icy coolness is by the way Environments 2 :)

A while ago I decided to try and listen to everything released on the ECM label; or at least a track or two from each album, depending on how easy they are to find and how much I like them. Currently on Keith Jarrett's Belonging. The current trend seems to be me enjoying something and then Jan Garbarek pops up screeching his saxophone. Something about his playing is like nails down a blackboard to me.

Well, we all go through that stage.

Fittingly, I'm currently listening to Tangerine Dream - Lily On the Beach

Tangerine Dream - Quantum Key EP

Magnificent little record. I'm really hoping they keep up this quality for Quantum Gate, I'd love them to send off TD on a real high.

Opeth - 'Heritage'
'Pale Communion'
'Sorceress'

First albums I heard from this band, very nice. Despite hammond organ and generally quite retro-"bell bottoms"-70ies hard/progressive rock sounding they manage to create a very emotive autumnal/gothic atmosphere. The Steven Wilson influence is obvious, which is a good thing.
