soop wrote:Three of my FLAC files begin with a loud digital pop. Very distracting:

Env 5: Unforth
Env 8: Sea Pig
Views 14: The House in the Woods

Is anyone else hearing this?
Thanks.

(On a positive note, Views might become my all-time favorite... it's so unique and beautiful)

Graham just wrote to me, the pops are fixed.
Everyone re-download and check out the new version :)

Good work. Not commented on this release yet, but it's fair to say the ambassadors are really spoiling us at the moment. FSOL heaven.

Environment six, Environment 6.5 and now Environmental! 3 full albums in the last year with only new music and it is all so bloody fantastic!
Not to forget E5 and Views also! Have the guys ever been better ?
Keep it coming, I am on a FSOL high and hope it never ends!

In less than four years we've had Environment Five, Archived 8, Life in Moments, Ignition of the Sun, Environment 6, Environment 6.5, Environmental and Views. It's absolutely staggering.

does the mp3 download from fsoldigital have all the tracks, or is it a selection?

(sorry if this has already been answered)

If you buy the triple vinyl you get the MP3 (all the tracks yeah)

FLAC sells separately.

CD (with full Environmental and selection from the other 2 'albums') is coming soon (very soon) - that one will sell separately.

PS - the amount of released material these last 5 year is staggering ... I almost don't have time to listen to other bands :) - like, seriously - but I don't mind - FSOL takes me places I really want to go :)

Yeah the digital download (FLAC and mp3) is all 3 disks (Archived, Environmental & Views) downloadable as 3 .zip files

The only thing the download doesn't have is the CD version - i.e. the fact that the last few tracks on the CD are in a new order, so will have different crossfades etc. But in terms of all the individual tracks, then the download has everything.

Anyone know when the cutdown CD version is coming out?

Also having bought the vinyl on RSD at a shop I didn't get a download version. How annoying!
