'Commensalism' should be in your inboxes now.
"The track is from 'The 2012 Tapes'"

Environment Five outtake maybe? It sounds like it could be, too.

Lovely! I hear the 'Environment five' feeling as well. :)

Commensalism: very nice vibe.

My ignorance suggested to me this was a made up word. How wrong I was:

noun
1. Ecology. a type of relationship between two species of a plant, animal, fungus, etc., in which one lives with, on, or in another without damage to either.
2. Sociology. peaceful coexistence among individuals or groups having independent or different values or customs.

It is clearly a very Future Sound of London kind of word, especially in its ecology meaning, and Gaz, could have espoused the second description as one of his mantras.

I'm not sure there are actually many made up words in the FSOL titles catalogue. Some odd spellings, and maybe a few on Environment 6/6.5/-al.

Commensalism - An association between two organisms in which one benefits and the other derives neither benefit nor harm.

I guess this is how FSOL feel about most of their listeners in this new era of streaming ... :)

(I mean the listeners on YouTube, Spotify, and all the similar places that have a big bulk of their music and the band gets nothing in return, but they're not harmed either, I guess... there could be more deeper talks on this theme...)

I just noticed that the 2017 Calendar is available as a music only option now - I'm positive this wasn't there before. I assume this means previous tracks would be available right away, but does anyone know for sure? Would be a pity if only the remaining tracks were available.

The contact form on fsoldigital just shows a 404, so asking the kind folk here instead :)

Nice spot ! It certainly wasn't previously because I've been wanting that option since January ! (was away over Christmas and missed the purchase window for the calendar, so would jealously review this thread as to what was offered  )

I'd be surprised if it doesn't give you all tracks to date and then get the rest as per usual rate

It does give you all the calendar tracks so far, with the rest coming monthly. The option's been there a while now, I bought it back in May. :)

hmmm, i thought it was kind of cool this was an exclusive album for the dedicated group that bought the calendar, but i understand if fsol doesn't want to come off as elitist.

Thanks - Just bought the Music only option, and yes, there is a 'Calendar tracks so far' instant download. Interestingly, it only goes up until the August track, but hopefully Septembers will be sent out at some point :)
Looking forward to Octobers track :)

Where does time go? Another track is near ... wondering what we will be treated with this month. Wishful thinking, I'd like to hear another Humanoid track.

Nothing quite so exciting - a mix of Sol 7 from Environment Six this month.
