Well, I got last months track just now! Very enjoyable and atmospheric. I might have to make another FSOL mixtape soon.

Looks like Brian's been out of bed earlyish today. "December gives us 'The Listening Room' by the Future Sound Of London.". Is that an out of focus Shauneen Ta doing the old Virgin logo?

The link does not work well, it comes out as a page not found, the problem was that they missed a "dot"point before "zip" at the end of the download link, but I was finally able to get it :D pretty granular sounds on the track.

Going to have a listen to the album in its entirety later, see how it flows.

December's 'The Listening Room' has a sweet and melancholic tone. A welcome to the start of winter, and ending the 2017 Calendar Album on a high note. I keep on repeating play to this beautiful track ~

Love the new track - one of my favourites from the calendar album :)

I've actually listened minimally to each track (only 2 or 3 listens to each one... yes, I must have great willpower) - and now, finally, I can listen to them all together. Many times! :D

I think it really hangs together very well. I think my favourite of the bunch the Indo Tribe track, really excellent. :)

What a memorable 2017 Calendar Album! These are my favourites:

The Future Sound Of London ' Dox 2
Blackhill Transmitter ' 17th
Humanoid ' Propagate
The Future Sound Of London ' Sol 7 (Mx 107)
Yage ' AP.BAC
The Future Sound Of London ' The Listening Room

Excited for what's to come in 2018 ~

Just had a couple of runs through the whole 2017 Calendar Album,
and I have to say - it really flows rather nicely - feels like it's connected throughout.

It's late and I'm too sleepy to write, but there's something really cool about this 'album'. Feels very soundrtack-y, with some special sensual darkness...

Well, I guess it's already almost time for the first track of the 2018 calendar! It is nice to have this to look forward to every month - quite a big task for Gaz & Brian to have something available each month though, on top of all their other output. I mean, it's basically a whole album every year on top of any albums or EPs they release in a more traditional way. Then again, it doesn't seem like they ever have a shortage of material :)

Given the amount of archived material + unreleased stuff from ISDN shows and mixes, I don't think we ever hear a large percentage of their material at all, so I'm sure it's just a case of selecting tracks most suitable for the album.
