I just noticed, there are really too much pictures of close-up glass (and things that look like glass) in this book...

Much like the ISDN White booklet, they love their textures.

Oh, and to answer a previous question - 1871 was their PO box address. It's mentioned a lot on their early transmissions - London W10 5ZL.

I can't remember when the building was completed, but it *could* be a photoshopped/spherized version of The Gherkin:

Balls, yeah knew it was recentish but not as late as that ... Scrap that then !

I've often wondered about that sphere - the one above I always thought was hand-drawn for some reason, something about the greyscale version just lacks any actual depth, looks 2D. The one that graces the cover of Teachings, however, it looks a bit too good for '96 CG (or at least the sort they could afford throughout the rest of their art) but I have literally no idea of what it could actually be, I've never seen anything resembling it elsewhere.

It is a geodesic dome, but which one I don't know. I can't find one that matches it, but this one is close

Always find new things in this Album..Has to be listened to from start to finish.One of my top 5 albums along with lifeforms.

Fsol have always been brilliant at song titles (as well as the music) Nowhere At The Edge Of Somewhere,Trying To Make Impermanent Things Permanent,Through Your Gills I Breathe,High Tide On The Sea Of Flesh,Her Tongue Is Like A Jellyfish and on and on...wonderful!
