I turn to face the sun
So i bought the new FSOL art book and received the 4 new songs included was the track 'i turn to face the sun'.Have to say its now one of my favourite tracks by the guys,i think its been released in a slightly different form as a bonus track from one of the environment albums and thats all i know.Do you guys know if there's a longer version available,any other forms of the track at all? Love to know some more about it.Thanks in advance.

It's definitely one of the Best they've done.

I believe it was a work in progress circa 2008 - Environments II era, which might be why it turned it up as digital bonus for the vinyl edition.
I think the only real difference between the two released versions is the ending which is part of a segue - the bulk of the track is the same, certainly.
And yes, it's absolutely one of their best tracks. How it didn't end up on a 'proper' release I'll never know. Fantastic piece of music.
