I like this album, but nowhere near as much as The Cartel albums.

BTW, have you guys noticed that they've made a lot of songs about the sun (and summer) lately?

Makes sense 'tho. I absolutely love this new AA stuff, but it can almost be too much for my mind during the summertime :D

Gaz on FB:

All this talk of space jazz .....makes one a little thirsty
One of my personal faves from our Syd Arthur 'Monstrous Psych Bubble' remixes LP is the track 'Born to Live Born To Die ( Dorothy )'

A personal story .....

Having spent the whole car journey listening to the Syd Arthur album 'On and On ' for the first time I pulled up outside the old people's home having fallen in love with one particular track of such sublime delicacy and grace that I had played it on repeat practically the entire duration of the 2 hour journey.
Now I had arrived I reached for the CD case to determine it's name - it was 'DOROTHY' and with a tear of happiness in my eye I got out my car and entered the old peoples home to see my dear nan Dorothy not knowing it would be the last time I'd ever see her .....

This track features the sublime talents of two of my friends who I knew could handle the delicacy

John Harpjohn Dalton on flute and Jonathan Mayer providing the drone /sitar !!
Thanks maestros !
Enjoy !!
gaz x

Interesting to hear the background, and I guess the title relates to the story. I do need to give this album more listens, as well as the original

Yeah, I think that's my favourite on the album. Some of my favourite Amorphous stuff since The Isness is on the record.
