Ah, listening to that takes me back to six years ago when I listened to Environments II pretty much every day for quite a long time.

God, what a game-changer that track was back in 2008. Woke up one morning and suddenly BAM - new FSOL material and it's all strings'n'shit.

Are the bonus tracks on the vinyl or as downloads? Hoping they are exclusively on the vinyl.

So what about Environments 3 on vinyl? Any idea? That's my favourite one (with the possible exception of Five).

Just downloads, I believe.

No news on 1 & 3 yet...

The 180g versions were also delayed :(

While I was banging my head if customs fucked up, (15 days after procurement) Graham told me that they'll ship these days...

My friend in the US just got his EV 2 and 4, they were completely bent and fucked, he said the same happened to his EV5 vinyl. Who is doing the packaging over there on the site? It needs improvement.
play this backwards and you'll hear evil messages

Mine arrived today - in perfect condition.

- But I get what you're saying. This last shipment was is good condition by pure luck - they weren't packed safely at all.

- Also, I've received broken CD-packs more than once...

- And received wrong CD/vinyl more than once...

Something is clearly missing in this picture...!

We demand E1 and E3 on vinyl ASAP! :)

How cool would it be if E1 came out on vinyl with split tracks

If anything, a vinyl version would only exist to highlight the album's two part structure. I always thought that if any FSOL record was designed to be a vinyl release, it was the first Environments. As I always say, it's blatantly their homage to Rubycon / Ricochet / Tangram.

I feel you Ross - but I'd still like split tracks :)

looks like US post is the worst...

Quote from Brian Dougans:

- post outs - all vinyl is sent with extra cardboard stiffeners - we can't really be responsible for the way our products are handled while in transit - we try our best to make sure it will arrive to you as safely as possible -
- please pass my comment on about transit

Just got my copies in ... they look , feel and sound wonderful !

My only grievance is with the inner sleeve material . They do a good job of sticking to the vinyl and leaving bad scuffs as you take them out for the first time . Had a heck of a time cleaning the 'ENVIRONMENTS II' disc, side 2. :( Anyone else experience the same ?

- My copies survived the US Postal Service . :)

With almost all vinyl that doesn't have a plastic-lined inner. And all the cleaning guarantees a nice static-y first listen! At least the excessive sticking means it's probably virgin vinyl. But yes, it can be tedious. When I had a larger vinyl collection, I ended up replacing all the paper inners with plastic-lined ones because they don't scuff.
