...so, is No.6 closer than we think?

It's an inverted booklet cover from the E2 for now, but it seems really close to me, with all those talks that E5 will be a double CD and, stuff...

My guess is that this is a kind of a bonus CD for those who order the whole package or something like that. There´s no name or title on the cover.

Or it really should suggest that the series was supposed to have six parts in the end with the sixth one coming 'in the near future' - like 2 years I´d say

It might be there to make the image look more even/symmetrical. As pointed out, it's just Environments 2 with one of the booklet pictures showing.
Still, advertising the 'series' with one more to come does seem strange...

Given that five is "all new material recorded in 2014" and they'd been working on it as a standard Environments series release since at least 2012, and that it was at one point a long - potentially double - album, there is the possibility that the "enhanced archive" material from the E5 sessions could be set aside for release E6 in the relatively near future. But, very importantly, this is completely speculation and the guys never, ever do things in a predictable way, so speculation is something we should be very wary of relying on!

I asked Brian if he could clear up the mystery, he says: "the Environments series will continue beyond five"
Looks like it's a hint that there are more to come then. Nothing to suggest it's imminent, mind. I'm guessing we'll be having the next archive before another Environment, anyway.

MPB compilation of Australian music... no news yet. There's also an Amorphous single called 'Mother' due at some point.

What will the next Environment be? We've had terrestrial albums, one dealing with death what's next? I'd love to see the guys tackle outer space, or even an Underwater themed EV!
