Ross wrote:Funny, I missed this first time. Anyone else with the vinyl version (Alex?), can you confirm this? Would be a real shame. I'm holding out on buying it as I have barely any cash at the mo, and if it's a bad pressing then I'm really glad I didn't spend what I do have! May just grab the download this time.
Is there a download-only version of the vinyl remix album available? Or is the only download version the one with less tracks?

And is the last track on the newer download-only version exclusive to that, i.e. not on the RSD vinyl edition?

I want all the different remixes, but without forking out *too much* if possible. I got loads of FSOL/AA stuff to buy right now, including the side-projects that we're assuming feature one or both of them...

I doubt the vinyl remixes will appear officially otherwise - it was a Record Store Day 'exclusive', after all.

Ok. I thought the physical vinyl might have been the exclusive part, like with Green Day's Demolicious - the CD was a RSD exclusive, but it is available to buy as a download.

But fair enough, I guess I'll just get the cut-down remix download album and make do :)

Pandemonium wrote: So, the differences:

exclusive to 2x12":
C3 - Regrets (Re-edit of ‘An Ocean of Regret’ & ‘Regrets & Last Respects’)
D2 - Bankster Island (The Amorphous Androgynous Remix of 'Banksters')
D4 - Regrets and The Damage Done (Lost in Edit Remix of 'An Ocean of Regret')
D6 - Opium Smiles (The Amorphous Androgynous Remix of 'The Wasp')

exclusive to WEB:
05 - Anadolu Dub (Lost in Edit Remix of ‘An Ocean of Regret’)
15 - Watery Grave (Cranium Pie’s Baking Research Station Remix of ‘Regrets & Last Respects’)

- there are 8 tracks on the 2x12" that are taken from The Cartel Vol.1/Vol.2 - they are the same, so, not exclusive.
Why do I get the feeling only two people here read posts longer than 3 rows... :D

I usually do, but don't remember seeing that post at all. Too busy these days and end up rushing on and off here :(

Thanks for clearing that up though, Pande.

I suppose I'm only missing out on a few tracks by not getting the vinyl then. I might be able to live with that, just about.
