02/05/04 mix - anyone? (Was "Can anyone help...")

Post by Ross »

Site update is about 98% done, just missing a few bits and bobbins.

Does anyone have the link to the old Electronic Brain 1990s website? I can never remember it.

Does anyone have the 'Live at the Empire Ballrooms' Guru Josh featuring DJs Humanoid and Mental Cube flyer image? I've lost it.

Could someone send me Mulleck Well? My digital copy of Archive 3 is on a broken computer and I have no access to this track!

What was the tracklist for Peel Session '95? Not only have I lost my copy, but it never appeared on the live section of my site for some reason.

Ta!

I don't have the link to EB site - nor the flyer...

Mulleck Well along with 2 version that I have from the 1995 Peel Session are on their way through sendspace - link should be in your email any time now...

I don't remember how I ended up with two versions, but this is what I have:

FSOL - Peel Session (29.09.1995)

Version 1:
01 - My Kingdom - Yage - Spatial Freakout [25:00] (192kbps)
02 - Yage [7:21] (128kbps) - looks like cut-off, low quality too

Version 2: all tracks are 256kbps
01 - My Kingdom [8:55]
02 - Yage [6:15]
03 - Unknown [1:18]
04 - Quagmire (Extended) [7:52] - total play for all 4 tracks is [24:21]
You're doin' too much, do less.

Pandemonium - ta, I thought you'd be able to help with much of that!
Pete - that's the one, I thought it was still active but I just can't find it, there were about four different URLs for it. That'll do though, thanks! Found the page I was looking for.

MPB8 cover anyone? It's never turned up on Discogs.
And does anybody have the Berlin 1996 show from The Pod Room? If so, is it possible they have a tracklist with timings?
Oh, and I found the Electronic Brain site: http://special.the-raft.com/fsol/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Cheers! I tried exporting from my mp3 but my computer and iTunes don't get on too well. Thank you.

I should have v7 of the site online in the next couple of weeks hopefully. One MAJOR issue I'm having right now is working out what on Earth was broadcast on 02/05/04 on 6 music. I have it down as a psychedelic mix on the old live page, but without the bootlegs to hand (I don't have any post-2002 bootlegs anymore), I can't actually match it to a MPB mix or anything. Here's what I have:

MPB1: 1997
MHDS: 11/10/01
MHDS: 13/10/01
MPB2: December 2001
Isness Mix: Sept/Oct 2002
MPB3: 27/12/02
MPB4: 28/01/03
????: 02/05/04 BBC Radio 6 Music UK
Psychedelic mini-mixes 24/09/05
MPB5: 02/10/05
MPB6: 09/10/05
MPB7: 30/10/05
EBS0.5: 10/10/06
EBS1: 16/06/08
EBS2: 15/11/08
EBS3: 26/09/08
EBS4: 02/01/09
MPB8: 07/11/09

Any ideas? Also, Rontxo did you have a tracklist for MPB6? I recall you posting one when you found that CDr version on eBay.

Bam - Here's the 6 Music Set

Just spinning through the thing and it appears to be an interview with Gary where he's chosen various tracks, followed by a psychedelic mix. I seem to remember wiring up my freeview box up to my computer to record this and thinking this whole digital radio thing was very fancy and high tech!

That Berlin tracklist is from my website isn't it? :P I was hoping for one from The Pod Room so it matches up second-for-second for anyone who buys it. No worries, I'll get my own for the moment, that one'll do for the minute.

MPB5 and 6 - great, cheers!

2004 show - yeah, I have that info, I was hoping more for a tracklist or if anybody could match it up to a Pod Room mix, because as far as I can tell it's a rogue show which isn't part of the MPB series. Am I right with my list up there matching the Pod Room/names with the dates? Was that 2004 show never made available through The Pod Room? I thought the only ones missing were the two Mello Hippo Shows from 2001.

edit: Just seen Pete's link, just as my time at the library's run its course. I'll grab that tomorrow, ta!

If I remember rightly the MPB 5 and 6 that turned in the Podroom were actually MPB 6 and 5 respectively, if you see what I mean.

It's definitely not one of the MPB mixes that turned up in The Pod Room, which is odd as Gaz describes it as being one during the interview. Oh well. I went through all of the MPB mixes in the last couple of days and have added as much tracklist as possible. Volume 4's a headfuck, isn't it?
The site is now finished, unless anybody has the Fact Magazine November 2008 interview. Just waiting until the next time I get FTP access to upload it all now.
