Some estimated points of tracks, then:
Yage - Slugs Trail at 2.07
EMS+Piano Untitled 5 at 6 minutes
Environments 4 from around 8 minutes - quite abstract, some Environments 1 samples in there
Park is the spoken/percussive track at 9 minutes, I wonder who this is
Broadcast of Variants will be that track at 12.30 then, lovely stuff
Which must mean the track at 15/16 minutes is Environments 4, hurrah!
Then The Trees - still no idea who this is
FSOL - Vast Landscape is at 20.40 then, probably the droney track with the clicky beats
Lovely synthy track from Seafar
I'm beginning to get lost around this point, 29 minutes is definitely FSOL though, which is again good
Completely lost now, although there's a lot of excellent music between 35 and 40 minutes which I'm hoping is Sunsets from Environments 4
Maybe the familiar material at 39 minutes is the 'Enhanced Edition' of Archive 1 - whatever that is!
Which would make sense as that makes the track at 42 minutes Enemy 9 by Yage, which definitely sounds like something from Woodlands of Old.
So... Polemical at 45.30 then? I suppose that sounds like some of the circuit bent stuff, so that makes sense.
The Sand Sound Folly - another blank drawn from Google. Ditto Bainbridge Brothers. Really am quite lost here.
Wouldn't like to say where Riz's track is either.
The Long Day at 52 minutes - didn't expect this to be a FSOL track. Lovely stuff though.
Me at 54:40. I think this is the only happy sounding piece on the mix!
1973 Electronics Group at 57. Another blank from Google.
More Yage at 58 minutes, sinster percussive stuff, nice thumb piano work.
Dan Pemberton at 1:02:55, beautiful and quite spookily poignant given that description.

Oh, that´s really a lot of rather unheard FSOL stuff, more than on any EBS so far I guess. It really looks like some kind of promo for Env4. And quite alot Yage in there, I wonder if there will be another album... Archive 77.7.5.77 - from the archives 7 maybe?

Anyway, brilliant mix again, very quiet and subtle, a lot like EBS 6 in mood.

Bloody hell. It does look like they've been quite busy of late doesn't it?

There's an outside chance that the Sand Sound Folly might be something derived from something like this:
http://www.soundeffects.ch/surround-sou ... ps,%20Sand" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Listening to it on the way into work this morning there was something quite like this at one point, but I'm starting to question my own judgement on things here!

The enhanced edition of the Archive sounds intriguing. Part of me wonders what the early Archive releases would be like with the proper mixed makeover a la Volume 4/5/6, but then I didn't really recognise much there. The Archive 77.7.5.77 sounds intriguing too.

As ever, they seem to offer up as many questions as they do answers with this mix. It does at least seem they really do mean it when they say Environments 4 is coming soon! Sounds like there could be another Yage album as well at least.

On the contrary, I'd say the amount of untitled material suggests Environments isn't as near completion as we'd imagined...

What I meant is from our perspective there's something more tangible than a small photo in an inlay card. I guess it could be argued it took another 15 years or so to get past this stage with the first volume though.

There's a video relating to Park up on the StakkerHumanoid Youtube site now, available soon from FSOLDigital.com.

I attempted to piece together what is what on the EBS7 podcast on friday, resulting in a state of considerable confusion. It seems as though there are many more tracks on it than are listed. Very enjoyable but damn confusing.

I've only just got round to listening to this despite downloading it nearly two weeks ago and it's by far my favourite of these Transmissions to date. Really cohesive mood throughout the hour and some really heart-wrenching emotions arising from listening to it (particularly Dan Pemberton's track right at the end). How a series can be this consistently good and yet remain so untalked about outside of these forum 'walls' I have no idea - tis bloody criminal is what it is !

It's such a shame these aren't getting the attention the MPB series does - the right audience would love these sets, and I think there'd even be a relative crossover between MPB fans and the earlier mixes in the series too. I suppose the lack of availability of 1-6 doesn't help...

Listening to 2nd time around.. wow. These mixes are seriously getting better and better. This has some of the weird paranoia mood that EBS5 had, almost like an adventurous feeling.

Man, can't wait for Environments 4, no to mention the actual new FSOL album..
from the source flows the endless...

Heaps of releases coming our way by the looks of it, very exciting!

Excellent mix also, I'll admit it took me by surprise to learn that most of it was actually FSOL themselves, there's a much larger percentage of it here than on the previous six.

I seem to think "Park" is the guy that says in the MPB and EBS mixes "Come on a cosmic ride with the Fuuture Sound of London"...
