Hello!

Nice to see the new forum is up and running!

Back in 2007 I posted on the old boardnation site about a track which has been eluding me.

The track is from the KISS FM mix on the 19th of May 1993. Its not on the widely available 69 min bootleg.

WELL - I only gone and found the tape I had of it! Tried Shazzam - no luck. So here are 2 dodgy samples taking using my iphone to record my in car cassette player.

If anyone can identify this track it will make my f*cking decade.

Sample 1: Vocal http://plunder.com/8e5336e558" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sample 2: Breakbeat http://plunder.com/b907f16451" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Apologies for the poor quality. Analogue is the weakest link in this pan decade wild goose chase.

Oooh, the 'breakbeat' one is very familiar - definitely heard it before.......

EDIT: I FLIPPING FOUND IT - Sorry, bit excited there!!! Yeah the track on sample 2 was also played on the 8 hour Autechre radio set from back in 2005. The track is Ross 154 - Remembrance:

So the good news is that the track has been found, the bad news is that you're actually looking for two tracks!

AMAZING!! YES!!!! Well done!

Autechre - makes total sense now, should have guessed from the programming really.

Vocal sample: gahh. The breakbeat is the more important half though. Thanks so much.

Oops, probably should've worded that clearer, it's not actually by Autechre they just played in on their 8 hour DJ set (they've also done two 12 hour ones since then, both of which are awesome - they should be floating around on the net somewhere).

The artist is Ross 154 and the track is Remembrance ( Full details here: http://www.discogs.com/Ross-154-Fragments/release/4500" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )
